Education

Arizona Young Breast Cancer Survivor Support Initiative is available to provide educational events within your community in Arizona!  Our community educator will come to you and provide useful information on breast cancer in young women as well as information on resources for those whose who have been diagnosed.  Most recently, we were able to provide education sessions at a number of the Maricopa County Community Colleges and various tribal communities across Arizona.  You could be next!  Click here to schedule your event.

Navigation

Every young woman (45 years old) diagnosed at the John C. Lincoln Breast Health Research Center meets with a certified navigator.  During this meeting, the navigator assists with understanding the diagnosis, explains the next steps and what to expect, and assists the patient for preparing for their journey.  If you are having difficulty finding the resources that are right for you, please email us!

Books Other Tools

Arizona Young Breast Cancer Survivor Support Initiative aims to inform individuals and families about breast cancer and what their role might look like in the process of recovery.  In order to alleviate some of the anxiety and unanswered questions that come along with a breast cancer diagnosis, we offer Coping Kits for each member of your family.  These can be requested online where you can build your own kit to match your needs and those of your family.  Medical professionals can also request a Provider Kit in order to share our information and educational resources with your patients or to keep in your library.  Click here for more information or to request your kit today!
